The Operating Model is not a picture beside the platform. It is the top of it. Open a function and see its sub-functions, the processes inside them, the systems they touch and the documents that govern them. Open any process and you are in the real thing, the same live process PAL maps and runs.

Accountability, made visible
Every function and sub-function in the model carries an accountable position. Not a team, not a shared inbox. A position, held by a person, connected to the processes they own and the policies they answer for.
And it runs both ways. Open any position and see everything it touches: what it is accountable for, which processes it owns, which it participates in, what governs it. When someone new steps into a role, their entire operational world is already mapped.

Nothing quietly expires
Every function and sub-function carries a currency status: current, due for review, or overdue, driven by real review dates. The whole model wears its freshness on the outside, so the question “is this still right?” has a visible answer everywhere you look.
This is how operating documentation stops rotting. Not through an annual review project nobody enjoys, but because the model itself tells you what needs attention, before an audit does.
